Designed By artist Sarah Deacon (alias Thinking Scientist) from Azteque studios – Sweet Strawberry Print Tempered Glass Chopping Board.

Beautifully textured and hard-wearing, it has have a heatproof surface and anti slip rubber feet. The glass we use is toughened and can withstand pressure whilst chopping.

Sarah is a self-taught artist, designer, photographer, stylist, part-time DJ, dancer and vintage collector with a PhD in Science. She loves pattern design and has passion for upcycling, harvesting and recycling fabrics and using the prints as inspiration in her own designs. Sarah loves to mix old and new, which is reflected in her eclectic mix of items. Sarah takes inspiration from from various places, including famous artists such as Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Gustav Klimt, Georgia O’Keefe, Frida Kahlo, Cesar Manrique, Roberto Burle Marx, Warhol and many other artists from the Expressionist, Fauvist, Cubist, Avant Garde and Pop-Art movements. Her father trained as a photographer and her mum was a chef and trained seamstress. Many of her works have hidden meanings and stories.
